Now I'm not going to run down each story but I will speak on a few of my favorites. Poetry In Motion was a delightful piece of erotic romance that will warm your soul. It carried a very strong message for the once blissful couple trapped in a dead end marriage. Stray away from that kind and caring demeanor that swept your woman off her feet and you just may lose her in a blink. Friend Or Foe and it's continuation, Kiss The 9 was the most memorable for me. As a thugged out product of her neighborhood, young Keisha took loyalty very serious, firmly believing in an eye for an eye and ride or die with your peoples. After putting in work for her best friend, she discovered a lifetime worth of lessons in a shady game where everyone's out for number one. On the other hand, Jade learned that time doesn't necessarily heal all wounds. Code of the streets says there's a stiff penalty for snitching and sometimes there's no way out. The conclusion from all this drama was a shocker to say the least, on some real shit fa sho.
The author put her foot into this one, creating familiar situations that just about anybody can feel. At the end of each of tale, you'll feel enlightened and sprinkled with game from an author who's obviously been through it. The best way to describe the writing of Alicia McGhee is versatile. Though the core of this book was erotic, the author made me feel a range of emotions as she switched up and proved just how talented she is.
